Mardomes beam daylight into school refurbishment

A total of 91 triple skin Mardome Trade dome rooflights were installed in the teaching blocks at Vandyke Upper School in Leighton Buzzard, as part of the refurbishment works undertaken at the school.

The domes, glazed in triple skin opal polycarbonate to overcome the problem of direct sunlight distracting students, range in sizes from 750 x 750 up to 1350 x 1350 and were supplied with the Mardome multiwall kerb.

With natural daylight now beaming into classrooms, the Mardome rooflights have made a huge contribution to improving the learning environment and teaching facilities at Vandyke Upper School.
