Brett Martin does a double with 2 stands at iconic Anfield.

A second phase of Liverpool FC’s redevelopment plan commenced with the Anfield Road stand. The project saw Brett Martin provide Marlon CS corrugated polycarbonate sheet for this stand continuing on from its completion of the Main Stand in 2016.

The construction of the stand worked in season, in the same way as the redeveloped Main Stand. Throughout the design process, careful consideration was once again given to Anfield’s world class atmosphere through the development of an acoustic and lighting strategy to match that of the one developed with the Main Stand. The importance of rooflights in this case is enabling diffused natural daylight to reach the pitch promoting grass growth as well as creating an enhanced environment for football matches.

The expansion of Anfield Road Stand will add 7,000 seats in the stadium, allowing Anfield to take its overall capacity to over 61,000 fans, making it the 4th biggest capacity holder in the Premier League.
